Previously, Mr. Moore was a Marketing Manager at Siliconix, Inc. and a Design Engineer at Precision Monolithics, Inc., Santa Clara, California. Circuit diagrams illustrate the best applications in terms of the system cost, function, and performance. General principles are presented through a range of examples. The discussion is limited to "signal switching" with typical power supplies of 15 volts or less, rather than with "power switching", which has quite different applications, though some devices described range up to 44 volts capacity.
