Overview

He had to have her...
After twenty years, prodigal son Flint Rutledge has come home to the Louisiana plantation his favored brother is determined to run into the ground — but not for long. Flint plans to lay claim to everything his brother has ever wanted—his land, his position, and especially, his dream woman, Dayne Templeton daughter of their greatest enemy. One look at the green-eyed seductress his brother couldn't tame strikes a potent desire in Flint, one that tells him that bedding the headstrong beauty will be sweet revenge indeed...

She accepted his challenge...
Men have called Dayne both a destroyer and a temptress, and Dayne relishes her status as an unconquerable coquette who can tease and bend a man to her will without ever giving him the reward he craves. But nothing has ever prepared Dayne for a real man... one determined to possess her at all costs... a skilled and ruthless lover with the power to ignite a smoldering passion she is helpless to resist...

But desire is the ultimate victor.
Now, as simmering family secrets and an ages-old feud threaten to destroy all they cherish, Dayne and Flint have become passion's pawns, surrendering to a searing desire beyond their wildest dreams...and beyond all control...

This was my first ever romance novel. Taking place in the south, it has left a mark on me that no other book can even hope to best. It shall always remain forever in my heart as THE book. Not 'a', but 'THE'. Descriptive, heart-stopping, this is a book you shan't ever forget!

rated like this because already have read. old book reprinted

I thought thea had a new book coming out. Much to my suprise it was an old book that has been out for years, but cost you 3 times as much because of the quality paperback size. Save your money go to a used book store and buy it there.
