Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - JT Griffith
Eagle-Eye Cherry's debut album, Desireless, was an impressive set of eclectic alternative folk-rock; its radio hit, "Save Tonight," was arguably one of the best songs of the decade. The title track is a reworking of a song by his father, jazz great Don Cherry. Other standout tracks include "When Mermaids Cry," "Conversation," and "Falling in Love Again." A strong, diverse debut signifying the arrival of a major new talent.

    BEST SONG EVER WRITTEN HERE!!!!!!!!

I LOVE EAGLE EYE CHERRY!!!! he is such a good singer and songwriter that everyone has to love him. my favorite song of all time, "Save Tonight" is on this cd. this cd is a great mix of down and up beat songs. Also, desireless is probably the best instrumental song in recent history. songs like when mermaids cry and conversation and shooting up in vain are very real. conversation almost made me cry the 1st time i heard it. when mermaids cry is about a beautiful girl who commited suicide and his journey to find himself. i highly recommend this cd.
