More About This Book

Overview

Survival is a dangerous enterprise in the aftermath of a nuked America. Humanity perseveres, but the Deathlands code is far simpler: kill or be killed, live or die trying. Driven by the fires of hope, a resilient band of warriors traverse the new frontier of the future, survivors by skill and legends by reputation.

The legend of the trader returns in the simmering dust bowl of the Badlands, the past calling out to armorer J. B. Dix. Her name is Eula. Young, silent and lethal, she's part of a new trading convoy quick to invite Ryan Cawdor and his band on a journey across the hostile terrain. But high-tech hardware, fast wags, flowing jack and friendly words don't tell the real story behind a vendetta that is years in the making.

    The Bite of '87 - Author's Note/Summary

Herro, my pickles! This is Princess Pickle!
My name might not be recognized, huh? Well, it's because I'm a new NOOK fanfic author! I'm VERY excited with my choice for a story, and I hope to avoid dissapointing anyone.
As a lot of you pickles may have noticed, the title of the story is, indeed, 'The Bite of '87'. A lot of you guys would recognize the term from the game Five Nights At Freddy's; yes, I'm writing a FreddyFic! I fished around the internet (a lot, might I add) and uprooted/figured out a LOT of FNAF theories, rumours, and backstories. So this is a FICTION version of what may or may not have been true events. Any real-life occurings are simply a weird coincidence. Now, what you've all been waiting for...
SUMMARY
Mikayla is an essentially normal girl. She reads. She goes to school. She plays video games. She's also a tomboy, which is why she mostly goes by Mike. But inside Mikayla, something has happened. Part of her brain was gone. She had a blurry memory of how it happened, but remembers nothing about where the accident happened, or who did it. Her mother says she tripped. Her father confirms it. The town, however, says otherwise. Story after story was published, but her own name was never mentioned. Mike's mother swore she would never let her daughter find out what happened. But wihout her mother's permission, the teenager applies for a Night Guard position at the local pizza place. And suddenly, the memories come flashing back... this time with visiters.
Anyone else pumped? YEAH! Just some things to clear up. Five Nights at Freddy's and the Bite of '87 were NOT created by me. I think this is pretty obvious, but meh. Legal stuff. Alright, I'll see ya for chapter one!"
