I love jayne ann krentz and buy all of her books under all her names, however ifound this book sadly lacking. This story did not have much in the way of plot, used the Lords name in vain a lot, and for a book with140 pages of story, way to expensive. Not worth buying, i suggest checking it out at the library if you want to read it.

Please realize these books are for collectors who never had a chance to own the original copies.  This was very early inner career.

Not Jayne castles best, but a quick read for the summer. The characters are a little wishy washy, especially Zack, I'm in to the last book of the series and am not sorry to see the book end like I am with most of her books. Especially the Harmony ones.

It actually caught me off guard who the real villian was. Specially w a few of em being questionable charaters. I liked it but I do hope they get better from here out. Goin on to Chilling Deception #2 rhonnihop

I actually bought my NOOK because the Guinevere Jones series wasn't available in paperback. I kind of feel ripped off. It wasn't terribly expensive but it was extremely short. If you put the whole series all together it would probably make one good book but then they could only charge you once. I did not buy the rest of the series just on principle. If I bought the whole series, which I absolutely had planned to do, it would end up costing more than a book. I thought I was getting a deal because they didn't have the cost of paper, binding, shipping and handling with a e book. Boy was I wrong.

I have read every book by this author, under every name. This is the first book that I found so boring that I almost quit multiple times. It does not have the usual chemistry between the main characters nor the level of excitement and suspense that all her other books have. I hope this book was the only one in this series that was this drab, but it will be a long time before I can try to read another in this series to find out!

Whether she writes as Jayne Ann Krentz, Amanda Quick, or Jayne Castle I enjoy all of her stories, and this one was no exception. Though not as thrilling and suspenseful as her paranormal stories, her characters (Zac Justis and Guinevere Jones) are quirky, funny, and entertaining. Since this is the first one of the series, the relationship between Zac and Gwen progresses slowly. So be prepared to buy the whole series if you want to see how Zac and Gwen's relationship ends up.

I liked the story line but, was a little slow for me. I liked the love story but, was a little disappointed with the lack of action.
