Overview

Sir Gerard Fogg, sworn knight of the Royal Guard of Algonwick, lives with a secret: his forbidden love for Prince Tristan Fysher. When a mysterious attacker brings tragedy to the kingdom, Gerard is imprisoned in the castle dungeons to await the King's judgment. A late night visit from the King's advisor, Ranulf, brings an unexpected escape plan with a promise of revenge. Gerard agrees, not realizing their journey will take them five centuries into the future.

Archaeologist Jon Calder has never felt like he fit in anywhere except among the ruins of Algonwick Castle. When he encounters Gerard, appearing to be nothing more than a handsome, polite drifter with an odd manner, Jon experiences an inexplicable connection. It's as if they've known each other for years, or in another lifetime.

Despite his better judgment, Jon finds himself drawn into Gerard's incredible tale of time travel and royal betrayal. As they hunt for the mysterious villain who escaped through time, Jon is torn as he tries to decide if Gerard is a man of his word or a very skilled manipulator. His decision will either bring glory or devastation to Algonwick across time.

About the Author

Hank Edwards is a curious mix of practical realist and feral dreamer. He is a fan of absurd comedy, and has incorporated this in the sizzling and hilarious Charlie Heggensford Fluffers, Inc. series, as well as Plus Ones, his wacky rom-com revolving around the passing of gay marriage in the state of Michigan. He also loves a good mystery and suspense story, which inspired his Up to Trouble series, featuring FBI Agent Aaron Pearce and his lover Mark Beecher who met during one case and have gone on to solve others. His love of chills and thrills prompted him to create the Venom Valley series, which combines vampires and zombies with Old West cowboys, now available from Wilde City Press. He is also a member of the Story Orgy group (www.facebook.com/SOGroup), a clan of writers who post free gay romance reads to their blogs every Monday morning and self-publish steamy stories based on writing prompts.
