    Different

Definately off the beaten track even for mythology-based fiction! I've read Kenyon's Dark Hunter stuff and some of Riordan's teen series, but this puts a whole new twist to what it means to be divine.

    My only problems are:

1- PLEASE have a real person with spelling/grammar skills read your work before submitting. I know that speech recognition software won't catch things like "thrown room" or "role my eyes" or "twitched it's tale" but a proofreader would.

2- The maundering search for self... I could have skipped the middle third of the book and she'd still be in the same place -- with full realization only coming in the last two chapters!

3- Lack of closure in lots of cases. Tertiary characters introduced that weren't needed (Bad Guys 2&3, Wifey, Janitor Guy, etc), who does her job now, what ever happened to her cat...?

All this said, I still give it 4 stars for creativity and showing what it might be like inside the head of an eons-old goddess.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Great story!!!You must read this

Finally a good book that doesn't have a sequel or a series but is just as great and fullfilling as if it is. Once started it's almost impossible to put down

    more from this reviewer

This was more fun than I was expecting, light-hearted and witty

This was more fun than I was expecting, light-hearted and witty without being frivolous. The characterization of some classic gods was honest and clearly researched though some details seemed to ring false.

My major complaint would be that the ebook version I read was full of misspellings, clearly a sharp eyed editor was replaced with a spell-check program. "Thrown" and "Throne" are both real words, but only one can be sat upon.

    Pretty Good

The story started off kind of slow and the characters were really slow to develop. But a little over half way through I thought it really picked up. A pretty good story and an easy read.

    Soul search right here

What issue was the aurhor trying to work through in her life. Strange story, a lot of "soul searching" in it. I am not sure what I thought of it, I suggedt you read it and see if it speaks to you. Enjoy
