i like the basic concept and can be used in calorie restricted diet without counting the calories. Would have appreciated more recipes and a little more nutritional information, research info, or medical knowkedge instead of straight up laymen terminology. I subscibe to the program through my own trial and error so the validation was nice to read but no new information other than 3 to 4 recipes. This book is great for someone interested in starting a detox way of life with no prior research

I preferred her other book "Raw food detox." The diet in detox for women is extremely restrictive and is a little too unconventional for my taste. I like the author, as always.

The book itself seems very interesting and she makes it fun to read her book. Natalia makes it so that everyone can follow her program no matter what they were eating before. One problem I had with the book is the fact that she had food combining rules. First of all, there is no proof that this works or it is valid. I have a hard time not being able to eat fruit and cheese and forget steak and potatoes. I would like to know who actually made up these rules and whether or not it was just someone who decided it sounded good or if they did research. It seems like a very nice way to eat healthy and I have used some of her ideas but I don't think I can follow all of her rules. Books like the "Master Your Matabolism" by Jillian Michaels are much easier to follow and this one in particular has scientific proof to back it up.
