    WHO SAID HISTORY HAD TO BE BORING?

    The pulp fiction approach to history is a dynamic that invigorates and entertains. I can easily see these titles sparking a new light in younger readers, and re-igniting a dampening flame in more mature ones. General Smedley Butler was one of the most fascinating characters in American History-- yet how many Americans know him? Especially today, as we question the wisdom of war, Gen. Butler's insights are both rare and welcome. If you enjoy being entertained, you'll enjoy this book!
