    Kadrey knows how to tease

A perfect little between book teaser story. Of course I wished it was longer. Definitely should only be read if you are caught up on the series otherwise the impact is completely lost.

    more from this reviewer

    Solid Sandman Slim

A great interlude between Aloha From Hell and the upcoming Devil Said Bang. Illustrating that things never seem to go quite right, and adding to the mythology of Slim's world. Fast, fun, and violent as a Slim story should be.

    The sandman slim series!

This series has turned me into a complete sandman junkie. A hero i can finally trust in. I hope it never ends. My great thanks to its creator. You should turn it iinto a internet series. I am sure it would have a huge following. (everyone i have recomended the books to , with the exception of one , has become a real fan.) Thank you again . Dolores Tupper

    Very decent!

Kadrey doesn't dissapoint. I've read farther in the series but it was worth backtracking to catch this little gem, and who could complain at a Kadrey book for a buck?

    Quick fun

A quick, fun little short in between books three and four in the series. Don't read it unless you've gotten at least that far; it will make no sense on its own.

    Read after book three

Decent segue after Sandman gets his new position. Not bad for only 99cents.

    Enjoyable interlude

A good interlude between stories. I could ask for more, but that sums up my feelings on Sandman Slim. I always want more.

Other than being so short, a great, fast and fun add to the series (and yes, needs to be read in sequence).
Shame B&N does not list number of pages in an ebook before purchase. I noted in one of the reviews that some got this instalment for free. I think it should have stayed that way, since this was shorter than most ebook free samples. Of the 41 pages purchased, only 24 are the story itself. Just my opinion.

    Unexpected

Great short story! Not what I expected from a free book, but in a good way. I wish there was more to read.

    Worth a look

I am a big fan of the Sandman Slim series and this was a nice little filler while I waited for Devil Said Bang to release. Nothing terribly significant happens plot wise, but it is a very compelling little side story while Stark bides his time in Hell. CHeck it out if you are any kind of Sandman Slim reader.

    Brilliant.

There is nothing I didn't love about this story, except for that it was too short.
