Could not put it down! Read into the wee houres of the morning in order to finish. Loved the two main characters; lynette & adrian. Supported by fascinating people both caring and horrible. Lynette, though a poor, innocent parson's daughter, is strong and full of spirit. Characteristics she needs to stand up to adrian, who she unknowingly hires as a mentor to teach her how to procure a well to do husband. Little does she know the type of training adrian has in store for her. Lynette discovers her sensuality, while adrian learns of lynette's loving, strong, caring nature. By the way, adrian is sizzleing hot!

With the death of her father, a poor country parson, Lynette knows her impoverished family is in deep trouble. The Earl of Songshire visits Lynette suggesting a way out of destitution for her and her family. He gives her the address of Baroness Huntley, who runs a thriving business arranging marriages to wealthy elderly aristocrats.---- A desperate Lynette meets with the Baroness, who takes her on as a client and assigns her to her notorious nephew Viscount Adrian Grant to prepare her for her ¿mature¿ spouse in a marriage that should not last more than a decade. Adrian trains his latest pupil in how to behave as a willing biddable bride, but the intelligent Lynette keeps shocking him with her curiosity and her questions unlike his previous students. As he teaches her how to excite a man, even an old one, he finds the kisses and caresses and more stimulate him as no one has ever done before. Adrian suddenly knows he has a heart and that organ (and another) belongs to his pupil who has taught him to love.---- This exciting erotic romance will heat up fans of Regency tales as the tyro Lynette teaches the professor Adrian the difference between sex and making love. The story line focuses on the debate between these two protagonists as the innocent Lynette believes love and that her sex mentor deep in his soul wants someone to simply love him while Adrian insists it is all about lust as love does not exist. Readers will appreciate the hands on philosophical debate that Jade Lee presents her audience.---- Harriet Klausner

Set in the 1800's, England. This story is definitely different than the other historical romances I've read. Especially when you learn Adrian's profession. It's a good erotic & sensual read. You'll wonder through the whole book if Lynette goes through with the deal or not. Of course, it has a very happily ever after ending. All Adrian needed was someone to love him, not simply lust after him. Don't we all.
