    What's the hype all about?

Okay I give you the fact that cd does have a few gems in it, but that's it. God only knows what this man's producers had to do to make those select few good songs. The shame of it is, is that this is the man's best work. It's enough to make me cry. I just really have to say is the "artist" does not in any way shape or form deserve his namesake. He doesn't live up to it. Try harder, maybe one day......far from now.

    Back to basics

The first Voltaire CD is awesome. "Oweee" is understood by any guy ever dumped (once you hear it, you will get it). And every guy has felt the pain in "Ex Lover's Lover". "Shalom" is a nice break in the mix. My all-time favorite (and becoming my theme) is "When You're Evil. *look into my eyes - buy more Voltaire!! Be sure to check out his "Ooky Spooky" coming in summer 2006.

    Buy this now

This is a great CD. The songs are really fun and express what you may have always wanted to say or do. If you like to laugh and listen to some great music, you really should buy this one.

Did he sell himself to Beelzebub? I think so.

This album is great. While it has dark, atmospheric works such as ''Ex Lover's over,'' and ''When You're Evil,'' it also has such sweet songs such as ''Anniversary,'' and ''All the Way Down.'' It just pulls you in right from the beginning with its melody and harmonics, but mostly Voltaire's voice is just captivating as all hell. I think he must've sold his soul to the devil, because his voice is so good it has to be something supernatural. The way Voltaire can change his tone of voice within the span of just one song is extremely admirable. It's something not too many singers have accomplished lately, which makes his music even that much more unique. Whether he actually sold his soul is beyond me, but this is something quite unearthly...
