Devil's Feathers, the second novel in the Inspector Levent series, is a penetrating look at the fascinating country of Turkey from a different angle. On vacation at the Aegean Coast, Levent is drawn into a widening web of violence as he investigates a brutal and seemingly unmotivated murder at a convenience store. When Levent finally discovers the motivation for the crime, he has all the pieces in his hands to bring the story, past and present, to a perfect conclusion. This is a very well written book and an up close look at a seldom seen place and time. The ending is as explosive as Chacko generally makes them. Don't miss any of it.
