    Pure Genius

Anyone who has criticized Al Di Meola for being too mechanical in his playing hasn't been listening at all. This work of art is probably his best composing to date and unquestionably showcases his virtuousity without the blazing signature style he's been stereotyped for. Not that his speed isn't present, but the overall arrangements are nothing less than hypnotic and musically perfect. Bach, Rachmanninov, and Gershwin have nothing over this genius.

    Tangos by DiMeola

One of the most sensual CDs I own. This is not a typical DiMeola CD...
