Book is very insightful and interesting. I gives you better insight on eating habits as a diabetic. I got it as a gift for my sister, This book is exactly what every diabetic needs to read. It clearly spells out what to eat, drink, and what to avoid in order to keep your blood sugar consistent.

The book was exactly as advertised and is what I needed to assist me in my diabetic diet nutritional needs. This is a must read book for diabetics. I have always felt that a low carb diet works best for diabetics.

I have just found out that my husband is a diabetic who needs insulin. This book has become one of our bibles in the house, you just don't realize how much food we eat that is bad for a diabetic. With this book around we can look up almost everything and see what he can eat and how much. In the process we have both lost weight and I have cut my cholesteral down and he has cut his sugar down from AIC 9.5 to 6.5 that has been great in a month.

I appreciated knowing why a particular food is good for a diabetic instead of someone just saying eat this, it's good for you. I highlighted many items and will probably refer back to this book in the future. I recommend this for people new to diabetes so they can see that there is variety in what we can eat and enjoy.
