"THE DIAMOND HUNTERS moves from Cape Town to London and back, from the sandstorms of the South African coastal deserts to the icy wastes of the South Atlantic. Like all Wilbur Smith adventures, action and characterization are superb!" B-O-T Editorial Review Board

Johnny Lance and Benedict van der Byle thought of themselves as almost brothers. But now, in Africa, they had come to the crossroads of their lifetime rivalry, for a fabulous deposit of mineral wealth would test their friendship and make each face his own heart of darkness. Reissue.

    The Diamond Hunters Review

I am a big fan of Wilbur Smith, this was a good story that could have been better...not one of Smith's best works. The plot was very good, but the book seemed more like an unfinished manuscript than a finished book. The ending was abrupt and unsatisfying leaving lots of unanswered questions. There were no chapter seperations and it was difficult to discern when he was changing subjects. Additionally, I have never seen so many spelling errors in a finished book, virtually on every page. I would not recommend this book to others.
