Diamond Life/Soldier of Love

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Andy Kellman
This two-disc set combines the first and sixth albums by Sade: Diamond Life (1984) and Soldier of Love (2010). Sets like these typically combine back-to-back/chronological releases, but these two albums are both significant parts of the Sade discography. The former is a sophisti-pop classic led by "Smooth Operator," while the latter debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart and features a stunning title track. The two discs are packaged separately and are housed in a slim cardboard box. There are no bonus tracks, and the price should be around that of a single full-price disc.
