Mistress of manipulation Diamond Reed always gets what she wants. As a single mother to her teenaged son, Diamond transforms into a vicious cougar with an insatiable appetite for men less than half her age. She preys on her son's friends for sex, molding them into a team of young men who line her ever-growing pocketbook with the spoils of crimes they commit under her leadership.
Dante Reed, although always against his mother's promiscuous and conniving ways, somehow gets pulled into her web of deceit under the pretense of motherly love. But when Diamond and Dante are busted for a plan gone wrong, their lives hang in the balance as they face life in prison. The stakes are high, there are too many loose ends, and Dante begins to doubt the flawless love his mother has hypnotized him with for so many years. What will it take to turn blood against blood, friend against friend, brother against brother? What will it take to shatter the veneer of the Diamond Syndicate?

Meet the Author

Erica Hilton's ability to switch up her writing style is undeniably her greatest feat. From the hardcore storyline of 10 Crack Commandments, where the lyrics of the incomparable Christopher Wallace, AKA, the Notorious BIG are broken down and deciphered into a thick fictional plot filled with drug deals and backstabbers. To the more female driven narrative of Wifey: From Mistress to Wifey, slated for a November 2011 release. Also in Ms. Hilton's catalog are: Dirty Little Angel, The Diamond Syndicate and Dirty Money Honey, that will be released on Melodrama Publishing November 2011. Dirty Money Honey is a collaborative effort with her labelmates, Nisa Santiago and Kim K.
Erica currently lives in West Hollywood, California with her fiancée and two dogs, Jay and Bee.

    The Broke Princess

Diamond Reed is a spoiled-rotten, scandalous, and materialistic female that only comprehends dollar signs. As a young child, Diamond was daddy's little girl and mama's pain; then her mother decided to leave, forcing her father full responsibility to care for her.

As a teenager, Diamond turned thirteen in age but acted more like a twenty-one year old adult. She began doing everything she wanted and never suffered consequences. During high school, Diamond took the sex game to extreme levels and utilized herself freely to get money.

After giving birth to her son, Dante, she returns back to her old habits - only this time, her prowl is young boys. Diamond is not responsible but somehow seems to acquire the finer things in life as she manipulates all men to fulfill her desires. Now, Diamond plots a scandalous operation that involves her son, Dante, and others, that will eventually change their lives forever. Will Diamond ever change for her and her son? Will Dante realize Diamond's ways?

"The Diamond Syndicate" by Erica Hilton is drama-filled! Overall, exciting novel and I will continue to look for more novels from author Erica Hilton in the future!
