Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Bonnie Bruneau
Claire and Malina are two sisters who are as different as night and day. Claire is kind while Marina is cruel. Claire is treated unfairly by her mother and sister, much like Cinderella was in that old fairy tale classic that everyone knows. In this enlightening and uplifting fairy tale, Claire is rewarded for her kindness while Malina is cursed for her cruelty. The story teaches a wonderful lesson. What's on the inside is more important than what is on the outside, and if you have a beautiful personality you will appear beautiful to others. A "Bank Street Ready-To-Read" level 3 selection.
