Finally a winner! I have finally found a book to catch my attention right away. I hate reading, but I am forced to do so with my husband. He believes we should read for an hour a day... he feels it stimulates the mind. He bought me a Nook for Christmas and I have really gotten into the Urban Fiction. Although I don't think it really stimulates the mind, he doesn't know what I'm reading. Just that I'm reading. And it makes him happy! I loved this book and I can't wait to read more books by here. This story is one of those things that probably happens everyday but you never hear about it. So happy that Diamond was able to find happiness in herself despite her circumstances. Even though she was caged like an animal, she chose to sing. This was a great story with a powerful message. You can't hold a real woman down. Check this one out y'all... Definitely a good read. And I just started Diary of a Woman Scorned... Page Turner as well!!!

Wow is all I can say. But I can't blame Diamond... I would have done the same thing. And it's sad to think that this actually happens to women all the time. Great storyline... Great characters, Great Book!!!

This is my first book by Kinder Jackson and I really like it. I couldn't put my nook down no matter how hard I tried. I can relate to Diamond because I went through something similar as a child. This book was deep and I definitely recommend it to those who love reading. I will be checking out more of her books in the near future! Good one Kinder Jackson!

Jackson has done it again! This book makes you think about how life can change in an instance. It also makes you aware of the fact that everything that glistens and gleams is not gold. You have to be careful who you trust and who you love in life. This was a great book and I really enjoyed it, as much as I have enjoyed her other books. My favorite by far is Diary of a Woman Scorned though. That book was a good one. I really like Jackson's writing style. It's suspenseful and entertaining. I can't wait to read more by Jackson. If you like reading drama, you'll love Diamonds!
