Meet the Author

Dick Martin is an Ohio-based outdoor writer who has covered all aspects of outdoor sports and travel, as well as gardening and farming, for newspapers and magazines for over 45 years. He is also the outdoor columnist for the Mansfield News Journal (Ohio), as well as the Norwalk Reflector (Ohio), and author of the recent historical novel about Ohio Indians, Flying Hawk, also available as an eBook. Martin has also written an eBook series, Hunting and Trapping Tips, for select eBook retailers. Great Gardening Vegetables begins a new series in which Martin’s witticisms and insights make home vegetable gardening seem less daunting and more like the right thing to do.
