I never would have bought this book if I hadn¿t have been able to look through it first. I enjoy very technical and detailed information on this subject and this book delivers. This book is best described as very esoteric It explains many of the minute reasons for success and failure of weapons systems and procedures. How chain guns work, what was wrong with the Sheraton tank, fission ¿fusion weapons, torpedo propulsion systems, guidance systems, every weapons system you can think of, as well as complexities of Strategy in a manner that is informative yet concise enough that you can stay awake reading it. I bought one for a friend of mine that is a major in the reserve. He uses it all the time for reports raves about it and thanks me for it whenever we get together. Was this review helpful?
