Thank You is a big couple of words for a young person. But a child is never too young to learn it. What and who to say "thank you" to. How about anything and maybe everything. The sun, the trees, the flowers, even something you eat, and so much more. The beauty of gratefulness is that it goes through the giver first. A wonderful lesson for the little ones.

-- Fun and perfect for bedtime or any time.
-- The bright colors and happy art of Sally Huss dance across these pages, as well as verses that encourage your child to read along with the story.
-- The story will awaken your child's awareness of the "aliveness" that surrounds him or her, while the message about being grateful sinks in.
-- There are interactive questions at the end of the story to tweak your child's imagination.
Fans of the books by Dr. Seuss, Mo Willems, the Berenstains, Sandra Boynton, Felicia Bond, Laura Numeroff, and P.D. Eastman will love DID YOU EVER SAY THANK YOU?.
Well, this is a very sweet book with an idea that should be planted into every child -- that of being grateful. To say "Thank You" to all sorts of things you wouldn't think of, is a wonderful plan. I think this book sets up a game that a child could jump into with both feet, and grateful feet at that. My granddaughter and I have fun thanking all sorts of things. We both love the illustrations.

Teaching children to be grateful for the little things in life is a valuable skill--for both young and old. I love Sally Huss' drawings and depictions of everyday life. This is a little book to be read and reread over and again.
Sally Huss is the author and illustrator of numerous children's books -- all colorful, all happy, and all carrying with them a lesson. From character-building games to rhyming books that deal with counting and learning the alphabet as well as observing good manners, Huss's books are classic in theme and designed for the kids today.
