About the Author

Wendy se eerste kinderboek het in 2005 verskyn toe sy ’n onderwyseres vir die grondslagfase was. In 2007 het sy die onderwys vaarwel geroep en ’n voltydse skrywer geword. Sedertdien het sy 52 boeke vir kinders geskryf en word sy beskou as een van die suksesvolste kinderboekskrywers in Suid-Afrika. Sy woon op die Weskus saam met haar kat en papegaai. Sy hou van tuinmaak, bokkoms, vye, tuisgebakte brood en om kaalvoet te loop.
Alistair Ackermann has been working as an illustrator since 2001. He illustrates children's books, educational books and develops characters for various clients. He has received several awards for his work. He lives in Cape Town with his wife and children.
