Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Modern Spirituality Series, Readings

This is a terrific meditation book of Bonhoeffer's writings. I have used it in daily meditations, and if I think I didn't learn everything I could from it, I read it again. The meditations are not numbered or dated in any way, making it easy to reread, or if I miss a day, not to get behind. It introduces a newcomer to Bonhoeffer's writing with short sections of his writings from different books. It has helped me see things in his books I missed before, and I have gone back to reread some of his passages. This may be better for a Bonhoeffer fan, but it certainly could be used by a beginner. Robertson provides a great, short introduction to Bonhoeffer, his life, and his writings. I have really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed Dietrich Bonhoeffer. I have dog-earred many pages.
