Chapter One

Why are there so many commercial diets on the market? If even one of them really worked for all people, that's the only one we'd all need! But obviously, there is no such thing as a one-diet-fits-all program. We have seen liquid diets, protein diets, low-carb diets, high-carb diets, all-fruit diets, water/fast diets, diets sponsored by Weight Watchers, jenny Craig, and Overeaters Anonymous. Some of these work for some people, some work for a short time, and some fail miserably. The reason for the disappointing results is simple: We are all different. Our bodies are different; our nutritional needs are different; and our dietary requirements are very different.

So the bottom line is this: To find and maintain your ideal body weight and live with maximum vitality and energy, you need a diet that is carefully tailored to your particular body type -- a diet that caters to your natural cravings and needs; a diet you can live with forever. That's exactly what you'll find in the Body Type Diet program.

Introducing the Body Type Diet

This book is about a program of weight control and health that restores the body's natural balance through an understanding of individual body types.
