    The Text Book

    Different Loving is a wonderful book for those who are new to the scene and wish to know more about it in a no-nonsense environment. The authors have a sense of humor, but they know what is serious. It appears to cover every area of play and every type of relationship in a way that anyone could understand. If there were a college course on BDSM, this should be the text book.

    Informative and Down to Earth

    For both the curious and the genuinely interested 'Different Loving' provides the reader with a broad overview of what we kinksters do and why we do it. Even those already well established in the lifestyle might still learn a thing or two. The interviews are honest and intimate, while the explanations of the various activities are delivered straight and to the point. If you or someone you know is into kink then this is a must for your library

    'An Eye Opener'

    Welcome to the world of Domination and Submission. This book has proven to be a through guide into the minds, hearts and bodies of those that practice the art of S&M. The writers have managed to demystify some of the taboos surrounding the subject matter by including first hand interviews from the men and women that love this lifestyle and the reason they do. If your looking to understand and or comprehend this alternative lifestyle I think you will find this book an interesting introduction.

    Non-Judgemental view of Dominance and Submission as a sexual preference

    For the curious and the novice ready to enter this 'scene' this book offers a balanced examination of the wide ranging behavior that falls under the category of Dominance and Submission. One of the strengths of this book is the wide variety of people represented in the interview sections of the text. These are articulate, thoughtful and insightful explorations into the reasons why this has become such an integral expression of their sexuality. This offering shatters many of the prevalent myths about this community.
