The REAL working "diggers" and construction equipment pictures are wonderful. The book explains how different pieces of construction equipment work. It is basic and simple enough for my 3 yr old to understand, yet there are more technical terms and working descriptions such as "hydraulic cylinder". We also have the EMERGENCY services book. The pictues and information is good in that too, yet a few "scary" scenes of crashes and people hurt that bothers my 3 yr old some. We will definately purchase the rest of the series.

ALthough this book has no author and the editorial style write leaves something to be desired, the pictures chosen are really nice and parents can talk about everything in the pictures for a good long while! We love this book!
