Meet the Author

Paul Harcourt Davies is an internationally known photographer and writer recognized for his macro photography of plants, insects, and other things. He has authored 17 books beginning with Wild Orchids of Britain & Europe (1983) and including two editions of Digital Photography Q&A (2009). He was one of the chosen speakers at Wildphotos 2008, has contributed to numerous magazines, and taught photography courses at Bristol and Cardiff Universities, as well as giving lectures for the American Orchid Society in the US. He also shares a blog with fellow UK pros Niall Benvie and Andrew Parkinson (http://imagesfromtheedge.com/blog).
