    Your Digital Darkroom

Michael Freeman just wets your appetite with what is possible in this book. Using your computer as the darkroom you are able to go far beyond the traditional darkroom techniques in processing your artistic vision.
Nicely laid out in sections:The first highlights some of the standard tools and techniques for editing your photos. The section on enhancement and retouching gives you some valuable tips and detailed steps so you can successfully use the techniques. The last section: Special Effects again gives you tips and steps to recreate the effects but also gives you creative license to show your photos far from the straight shot.

The book offers ideas and suggestions for making your images really great vs mediocre and is concise and compact. I need one for the bookself and one for the camera case.
