About the Author

Giuliana Cucinelli is an assistant professor in the Educational Technology Program in the Department of Education at Concordia University and is the co-director of the Participatory Media cluster for the Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology at Concordia University. Her research-creation program focuses on the social, cultural, and educational impacts of technology, specifically in K-12 schools and in the lives of young people.
