    A reviewer

The author should be commended for his research, interviews and general knowledge of the the gangsters who thrived during the depression. He is related to John Dillinger's first wife and most likely, had access to numerous people and settings that others did not have and took good advantage of that opportunity. However, after reading the book, the English language will never recover! There are dozens and dozens of typos. There is also improper use verbs, substitution of words that sound similar to the word he was seeking and sentences that are incomplete or parts of thoughts throughout the book. At times there are several mistakes in the same paragraph. Sentences are repeated on the same page. With all the work of writing a book, I wonder why he did not invest in a proof reader. Overall. the book was interesting but laughable when it was not supposed to be.

BEST BOOK WRITTEN TO DATE ON DILLINGER!!!!!

I give this amazing book 10 + Stars for outstanding research, amazing new photographs and pure factuality. This author is nothing less than genius. I'm also going to the authors book signing in Indianapolis, Indiana in September to get my book signed. This book will become an historical collectors item. The author of 'Dillinger, The Hidden Truth' Tony Stewart has working very hard to uncover many new facts in this book and has succeeded brilliantly! I strongly recommend those interested in John Dillinger, Bonnie & Clyde, Pretty Boy Floyd, Al Capone and the Karpis-Barker Gang - BUY this Book! Good Reading! I've read every book on the clever John Dillinger and ever other outlaw of the era. I've read Dillinger, The Untold Story, Baby Face Nelson, The Dillinger Days, Dillinger Dossier, Dillinger - A short and violent Life, Ambush, Life and Times of Pretty Boy Floyd, and many many more gangster books over the years. I find Tony Stewart's 'Dillinger, The Hidden Truth' the best book on Dillinger written to date. This book has a complete reference section and updates on what happen to criminals and lawmen years later. The book also gets into the early years of Dillinger gang members. How did outlaws like Harry Pierpont, Charley Makley, Russell Clark, John Hamilton, Lester 'Baby Face Nelson' and many other get started in crime. The early years to the final conclusions. It's all here! Lots of details and pictures. This book is the largest and best book written about Dillinger. My God, it's an encyclopedia of events that occurred from the early 1900's to the present. Don't let anyone steer you away from this book because of their dislike for criminals of the era. These gangsters of the nineteen thirties were professional bank robbers. Men like Dillinger dressed in three piece suits and saw bank robberies as just a way of living during the great depression. How do I know so much about Dillinger? From reading this book 'Dillinger, The Hidden Truth.' If the author happens to read this review. Thank you for such a wonderful book.

EXCELLENT BOOK! Read what authorities on history say.

Check Your Review of Dillinger, the Hidden Truth by Tony Stewart Here is your review the way it will appear: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- = BUY THIS BOOK! Read what Top Notch Historians are saying! Reviewer: A reader from Scottsburg, IN USA As a historian myself, I strongly recommend this book. I've read it twice now and still find it fascinating! You can't always believe reviews of those who comdemn books about outlaws of the past who probably burn any books written about these outlaws. However I believe the Qualified Authors and Historians who would only put their names on books they believe in. I agree with the responses written by the people who know best. The ones who have done the actual research and written about these events. Please read what these authorities of American history have written about Tony Stewart and his amazing book Dillinger, The Hidden Truth. Below is a list of recommendations taken off the cover of Dillinger, The Hidden Truth. "Tony Stewart's book 'Dillinger, The Hidden Truth' captures that shoot-em-up era to a 'T.' With the ever-growing library dealing with the '20s and '30s' gangster era, Stewart's book is another tasty dish on that splashy wine and blood splattered dinner table.¿ (Tom Hollatz - Gangster Holidays--the Lore and Legend of the Bad Guys). Tony Stewart's dedicated fascination with John Dillinger and other infamous gangsters from the 1920s and 1930s is finally revealed in "Dillinger, The Hidden Truth." (Robert Livesey ¿ author of On the Rock). Tony Stewart uncovers the "Hidden Truth" behind the Dillinger legend in this blazing ride through America's golden age of bank robbers. (Jim Adams - City Editor of the New Hampshire Sunday News). When it comes to John Dillinger, author Tony Stewart strives to ¿tell it like it is! "Dillinger - The Hidden Truth," presents this dapper 1930's outlaw, as you've never really known him. This is a must read book! (Frank R. Ballinger - Bonnie & Clyde's Hideout Website). "Finally we have a factual and engaging story of Dillinger¹s life, refreshingly devoid of the fantasy, bias and sentimentality of previous accounts." (Alston Purvis ¿ Boston University). If you read only one book this year, make it ¿ Dillinger, The Hidden Truth.¿ Tony Stewart presents an exciting new look at the bank robber¿s career and those who attempted, by any means, to ¿Get Dillinger.¿ (Bill Hanson - author of "Closely Guarded Secrets" and "Mystery Florida.") Read for the first time, Tony Stewart's well-researched book that uncovers the hidden truth in the annuals of the Gangster era that the FBI and J.Edgar Hoover didn't want the public too know. (Jeffrey Maycroft; Historical Consultant, Public Enemies Almanac). J. Edgar Hoover ignored the Mafia to ruthlessly exterminate easier targets--celebrity bandits like Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd, and Bonnie and Clyde--check out Tony Stewart's Dillinger, the Hidden Truth. Moves with the fast pace of a stolen Ford V8 to the staccato bark of a Tommy gun! (Rick Mattix - co-author, Public Enemies, America's Criminal Past, 1919-1940 and Thompson, the American Legend: The First Submachine Gun). In this new work John Dillinger is researched to the insight never before researched. I have a lot of respect for anyone who takes the time, patience, and discipline to research and then write a book on any subject, let alone a subject as complicated as the life of John Dillinger. This new insight and information that Mr. Stewart has written is a refreshing and new look at the famous John Dillinger. This is recommended reading, before the lights go out on the final chapter of John Dillinger. This is the final chapter.(Gordon Herigstad -author of Colt Thompson Serial Numbers). I applaud Mr. Stewart and HIGHLY RECOMMEND his new book Dillinger, The Hidden Truth. This book is 515 pages of fascinating and updated events. This book is built on a foundation of facts. Very Accurate and reso

    dILLINGER, tHE hIDDEN tRUTH

The annals of criminal history have been littered with books by authors who have never yet fully explored the truth. Tony Stewart's "Dillinger, The Hidden Truth" takes a provocative look at the true story from both sides of the law. Mr. Stewart brings forth an in-depth story of John Dillinger and his gangster pals from their beginning to their fateful end. "Dillinger, The Hidden Truth" contains "hidden" factual information that has never been brought to life...until now. Among this new information is the only actual interview with Dillinger's first and only wife, Beryl Hovious, where Mr. Stewart himself is the man asking the questions! Be sure not to miss "Dillinger, The Hidden Truth," a great addition to any library of depression era outlaws.
