    Nice photos but some of the recipes are somewhat disappointing.

    Nice photos but some of the recipes are somewhat disappointing. For example, for the Mango Pudding recipe, one would expect some actual mango added in (or puree or other liquid form of mango flavor), but the recipe from this book has no mango in any shape or form in the recipe except a slice of mango for garnish. It would be good if the author can confirm whether this is a mistake of omitting the mango. All recipes I've found for mango pudding in other dim sum cookbooks and recipes found on line have mango in the mango pudding.

    Great and easy!

    Great recipes, not overly 'americanized.' I have made several of the recipes and the ingredients can be found at your regular grocery store. There are 1 or 2 items, specifically red bean paste, that I had to look for at a speciality Asian market. Recipes do not require any expensive equipment, a cheap old school wire basket type steamer inside a skillet will work.

    Awesome

    This dim sum cookbook is great! Prep work is a little time consuming but the cooking part is easy. Ingredients are not overly exotic or hard to find. Most ingredients can be found at your grocery store and some of the sauces/condiments could be found in the Asian section of your regular grocery store. I have made several of the recipes in this book with great success! No special equipment is needed other than parchment paper and a steamer, you could even use on of those cheap old fashioned silver steamers and set it on the bottom of a wide saute pan that has a lid. Great!!!!
