The dimensions are in chaos, magic is illegal, and water is a rare commodity. Kyrin is running from the law. As a magic user, she’s marked for death, and as a run-away from the Shadowmere, she’s hunted as a weapon. Shifting between dimensions is all that’s kept her alive.

On the brink of being caught by the Shadowmere, Kyrin stumbles into a dimension devoid of the drought and seemingly untouched by the wrath of the Consortiums. In this dimension she finds a people innocent of the evils of the universe and naïve to the worlds surrounding them.

Lord Alric has ruled over his kingdom for 15 years under the direction of their god, Sithias. Before his time, the gods fought, and evil was removed from the lands. It isn’t until Kyrin arrives that he’s even considered that evil may still be among them, or that the long-dead use of magic may still be around.

Kyrin is on the run, she can't remember at time when she wasn't. Being able to shift through dimensions is the only thing that has kept her alive this long. After being injured she stumbles through a dimension door and into Alrics life and world. This book was fully interesting, all the stuff between different gods, and how even though Kyrin can take down a grown man in a fight, she does not know what goes on behind the close door of a bed room. Some parts where amusing and others shocking. Things just happening that you never would have thought but fit perfectly within the story line. I recommend giving this book a shot, I almost pasted it up because it didn't have any reviews, so I thought it only right to make one of my own. You won't be disappointed.

How can a story be violent, funny, scary, and endearing, all at the same time? Meet Kyrin our anti-herione. Born in one of the cruelest dimensions ever; where death is preferable to marriage, and pregnancy is the quickest way to torture, slavery, or if you're lucky--death. Kyrin is a dimension traveler, she's one of the few who can see and use dimension portal keys. So far she's only ever traveled between the dark dimensions where survival is based on how fast you can attack, no mercy, and how your demon god feels about you at the moment. What's a supposedly evil girl to do when she lands in a light dimension, where food is plentiful, water is abundant, and the people are not evil. This is where all the fun begins. I couldn't put the book down, the characters grew on me.

It's a good story, imaginative and reasonably well told. The ending was abrupt; I'm not fond of story arcs that go on for volumes, either, which this apparently does. There are a few places that could have used a good copy editor, but it isn't at all bad for a self-published work. I thought some of the time-and-place transitions were a bit sudden, leading to some initial confusion. The author also waited a bit too long to show us an important facet to one of the main characters. However... I don't regret the time I spent in Kyrin's world, and I did finish the book. I may even check out the next in the series.

I was a little apprehensive to get this book because it had very little reviews, but I'm glad I got it. I was hooked from the beginning.

This started off so well then---i quickly tired of Kyrin's attitude and ignorance. Her character took soooo long to develop that I just didn't care any more. After 200 some odd pages I skipped to page 600 and read the ending (which was bad). All of a sudden Kyrin changes her mind in 5 pages. I went back through and skimmed what I skipped and nope, didn't really miss anything. I liked most of the characters in the book but the main character who should draw the most empathy--nothing. I didn't like her, wanted to slap her most of the time and just didn't care. Her participation in the book was fighting, being cranky, almost dying several times and being a big pain in the butt. I definitely will not be getting the rest of the trilogy.

This book is amazing! The author managed to combine action, suspense, a hint of romance and a anti-heroine who is still the "good guy". Because of her (Kyrin's) inability to realize not everyone is trying to kill her- or worse- she makes a great, and interesting, main character. Highly recommended to people who like something outside of the box.

This book is hilarious!! I can't put it down and i am so glad that there are two more. It has everything- action, suspense, love, and great humor.

Great read for fantasy lovers. Sweet but not cheezy, yet action packed. Well written, although I caught a few gramatical errors and the language doesnt seem right for the time period I assume the story takes place in. The second book in the series was only $3, and i bought it before i was even halfway done with the first. I would definately recomend this especially to those like me that love a good book but don't want to read a work just because everyone else is. For a free book its worth the read, made a fan outta me!

A very compelling plot, but unfortunately rather amaturish in execution.

This book was a good read but I found the main character, Kyrin, to be a pain at times with her attitude but quickly became content once her background was explained. The action in this book was a plus and kept me quite entertained especially learning about the different dimensions Kyrin seems to shift into. The story line kept going at an easy pace and didn't leave me bored. There aren't parts in the story where the characters, (ex. Kyrin and King Alric), are all mushy, especially once their relationship seems to turn for the better. It was nice to see a tough female that could actually handle herself for a change instead of playing a damsel in distress like most books portray females. This book had you wondering what she was going to do next! All in all, this was really good read, especially since it was free! I definitely recommend this book for ages 12yrs and up. I look forward to reading the next book after this one called Paragoy Dimension.

Such a great book. I loved how independent Kyrin was and how great a fighter she was. It is a great action book but is also filled with romance between Kyrin and King Alric. When i first found this book i thought it was going to be too old fashioned. To my surprise it was aaammaazziinngg!! and its a long action filled read of 646 pages. I loved this book and im going to continue reading the series. I 100% recommend it to all readers from 11 to any ages above

Credit to the author for the idea of this book is due. It had a great plot and a tremendous female heroine who showed admirable strength that you don't see much of nowdays. I couldn't put it down and everyone I've shown this story to has loved it as well. Going to purchase the next book now. If you're someone who appreciates the noticable power this main character possesses, and likes the idea of women being able to do whatever they want abley, BUY THIS BOOK.

It needs a little work on the story line and characters. With some work this would be an awesome read.

I absolutely loved this book! Actually correction: I loved this series. Kyrin is strong and independant, yet she can still open up and learn how to live in a different way, even if she is very bad at it! She really struggles and it made me think about how I would see our civil world if I had been raised in a place worse than the dark ages. I reccomend this book to evryone. So minor mentions of things that I didnt like, but most romance was kept to a minimal with little description and that pleased my very Christian self. Please please please give this book a try! Sorta slow at the very beginning and the overall story draggs a little but you absolutely fall in love with the charactera. 4.5 stars....just because nothing can beat Jane Eyre;)

Kudos to T.M. Neilson....one minute you love Kyrin, next you dislike her and before you know it she has you laughing. Lots of adventure action, real page turner. Enjoy and be prepared to read the next book. :)

This book was okay. Although the grammatical errors and fast paced story kept this book from full development, in my opinion. Kyrin could have developed more and her lack of character development will keep me from reading the last of the series. The plot is very fast paced and seems to revolve around Kyrin's many injuries. Seriously she is close to death almost the entire book. For a free book it isn't a bad read but don't expect much from it.

I am just starting the 3rd book in this series. The first 2 I found completely engaging and hard to put down. I really enjoyed the twisted perspective of the main character and how that conflicts with her situations throughout the story. The environment, characters and plot are all outside of the norm but well written in a way where the reader can easily get into the ideas. I don't want to give anything away so all I will say is its worth the read. I have a feeling by the time I get to the final chapter in the the 3rd book I will be hesitate to finish. I won't want it to end but I won't be able to put it down.

Dimension Shifter is an excellent fantasy featuring a young female protagonist who is a combination of cold-hearted killer and innocent young woman. She has the ability to travel the universe through dimension shifting and magic. Adding a bit of humor, the males of Peragoy keep trying to protect her, even though she is a more accomplished warrior and fighter than they. Violent, but an interesting story.

Loved it from page 1! Read it in two days. Couldn't put it down. It grabs your attention and doesn't let go even on the last page! Can't wait to read the next book in this series
