Faulty premise...all dinosaurs are Not vegitarians...our son wouldn't let our grandson even see it...very disapointed.

Our young grandson loves anything about dinosaurs...this book was so out of line our son didn't let him have it...we try to keep works of fiction separate from supposed factual books..

    Finally!

I was so impressed with this book. The illustrations are amazing. My boys love spending hours pouring over this book, pointing out teeth and scales and laughing over their funny pronunciations of the dinosaur names.

I was also impressed with the writing of this book. There is a clear, credible theory about when dinosaurs lived - and it wasn't millions nor billions of years ago. Ken's theory is that dinosaur and man actually walked the earth together. This is nothing like you'll get in public schools where they spoon feed children into believing their highly improbable theory (my opinion) of carbon dating - not to mention evolution. We've heard one particular theory for so long, that so many of us have swallowed it and have not questioned it. Ken offers an alternative.

This amazing book is the Christian's answer of what may have really happened with and to the dinosaurs. It's a great addition to any home library and a great teaching tool for those who home school.

    Creation VS Evolution

This book is one great book for any type of dinosaur study. As a Home Educator, I plan to use this book in many research projects. This is not a typical dinosaur book, it is based on creationism and not evolution. However, it explains why in detail. I thought this was going to be a great read aloud book for my toddlers. I was wrong. This book is more for older children who are looking to learn more about dinosaurs. The pictures however, were great for toddlers and adults alike. To make the book more kid friendly, I would suggest prepared questions so they may look for the answers as they read the book. My children (that are not interested in dinosaurs) got lost in the wealth of information. I got to say as a Christian parent - I have been a little frightened in teaching anything having to do with the dinosaur age - I just was not informed. This book explains from the "evolutionary belief to the Biblical truth". I was highly informed without being bogged down with too much "science terminology". Although, this book says it is for "kids" it is great for the non-science teachers as well. I would love to have some of the graphics in the book as posters for the classroom. They are just that good! I would highly recommend this book! Blessings to you! You are loved! Note: I was sent complimentary copy for review purposes only. This review has not been monetarily compensated. The review was my honest opinion and views and not influenced by the sponsor in any way.

    Our Grandchildren Loved This

I didn't think our six and an eight year old grandchildren would enjoy this book but they did. They nagged me every day to read more to them, and begged for more when I stopped. I was able to start interesting discussions based on what we read. I believe it helped them on their own level to see the logic of the creation perspective. Help kids discover the truth about dinosaurs

Written for kids, Ken Ham will help them discover the truth about dinosaurs from the ultimate history book, the Bible. Facts only. He takes kids through the seven stages of dinosaurs, offering interesting facts and great color illustrations along the way. Kids will learn about when dinosaurs were created, what happened to them, how we came to learn about dinosaurs, and how most of what people today believe about dinosaurs is fiction. The book is filled with little sections called Four Fast Facts that give some quick bullet information on the page's topic. I highly recommend this book for kids who love dinosaurs. It's awesome!

    Great Resource

What a neat educational tool this book is for the kiddos. In a very fascinating filled with imagery way, author Ken Ham gives details on the dinosaurs as well as explaining in a very easily comprehensive format how the world was created according to scriptures. He even gives references and statement points for discussion with people who disagree. I think it is about time someone provided resources such as this and I am eager to look to see what other topics Ken Ham has to offer for children's educational books.
