Great book for children. Made learning about dinosaurs exciting and easy to learn.

Fun and educational. All of the popups and interactive places keep the interest going. The illustrations and explanations are very nice. My 4 and 7 yo love it.

My 7 yr old enjoyed this book immensly. It helped her understand dinosaurs better and she used it as part of a 2nd grade class presentation on "What I Want To Be When I Grow Up." (A paleontologist of course!) She received high marks for the supporting information the book gave her presentation and her classmates enjoyed looking at and reading it too when passed around. I think the cover art and fact that it is a pop-up book might lead you to believe it is childish but it contains many interesting facts and the pop-ups only make it more appealing to kids!

if you child loves dinosaurs, this is a really great book... and what kid does not love a pop up book. My son has completely loved this book!

books for children featuring dinosaurs started increasing about a decade ago. What, educators/parents have no imagination? Try other pop-up books for your '4-year-olds' The moveable, pop-up features are what interest children (and adults too) not the overdone dinosaurs themselves. Maybe a pop-up book about the Loch Ness Monster or Abominable Snowman would be an intriguing alternative to the monster dino books which are hand-fed to toddlers these days. Hand-fed as 'truth' of the 'theory' of evolution by the way. There are hundreds of choices of pop-up books for children. Even books which teach values and help them believe in something greater then themselves.
