Dirty Little Secrets: True Tales and Twisted Trivia about Sex

by JoAnn Baker

Did you know...

...That, until the mid-1600s, scientists believed that each sperm cell contained-inside of it-a tiny human being?

...That Romans and Egyptians devised their own form of condoms, but it wasn't until a physician crafted one from a sheep's intestine for England's notoriously licentious Charles II that the term "sheepskin" came into use?

Did you know...

...That, until the mid-1600s, scientists believed that each sperm cell contained-inside of it-a tiny human being?

...That Romans and Egyptians devised their own form of condoms, but it wasn't until a physician crafted one from a sheep's intestine for England's notoriously licentious Charles II that the term "sheepskin" came into use?

...That by playing "Six Degrees of Sexual Separation" you can get Carmen Electra into bed with Joan Collins-or Al Pacino into bed with Frank Sinatra-in just six easy steps?

JoAnn Baker and Erica Orloff explore all these fun facts and many, many, more in this comprehensive, occasionally shocking, and always hilarious look at humanity's oldest (and still favorite) preoccupation. From the Temple of the Vestal Virgins to the Washington Monument, Dirty Little Secrets delves undercover and between the sheets to bring readers the most fascinating, most scandalous information available on history's most cherished topic of conversation.

Author Biography: Erica Orloff is rumored to be the leader of an international cartel dealing in stolen sea monkeys, however she vigorously denies the allegations. Investigators report she's actually a writer and that there were no sea monkeys on or near her home.

JoAnn Baker claims to work part time as an elephant trainer in a traveling circus. In fact, she is a humor columnist somewhere in New York, and has never even been really close to an elephant, but she refuses to recant her story.

Orloff and Baker previously collaborated on The Big Sleep: True Tales and Twisted Trivia About Death. They share a demented sense of humor, an obsession for the unusual, and a fondness for dirty little secrets.
