Ashley Jaquavis gives us more than we can handle with their freshman novel, Dirty Money.

Fourteen year old Anari has two dreams in life, to get away from her cruel mother and move out of the ghetto. After circumstances put her with a small time hustler named, Maurice, Anari's life changes forever. Anari must learn fast and hard lessons of friendship, money and murder.

Reviewed by: LaDonna

    OMG....IS ALL I CAN SAY

First of all, it literally took me two weeks to read this book. This wasn't a very good book at all. The only reason I bought this book was because u bought guilty gucci and it was really good! But really......everybody????? I'm not gonna say what I want because it will give too much away to other people who might want to read this book. But I can say, again, I was very disappointed.

    Great Read

I loved this book. It took me no time to read it and it kept me wanting more. In fact this was the first book I read by Ashley and JaQuavis and every since then I've read every book they put out. "Dirty Money" turned me into a die hard fan of theirs. To the last person that made a comment this book does have a part two which is "Supreme Clientele." You should check it out. The book doesn't focus of Anari however, it will give you an update on what happened later so you will not be hanging forever.

    Tears & Pain

Well I'm really tired because I just had to finish the book in one sitting. This story was sad and good all at the same time. The characters are lively, memorable, hustlers, mothers, fathers, friends, and we can't forget the enemy's.

***This is a must have i lie to you not!!!****

I have read 99% of ashley and jaquavis books and i have one more to go before its a full 100% i can honestly say they did their absolute best on this one. This is the story about a woman Anari who grew up with a drug addicted abusive mother. She saw a boy throw drugs behind a tree because he was running from the police. After seing how loyal anari was to call him to return the drugs they clicked ant the rest is history...tragedies occur during her relationship with the young man. its possible that she may loose 3 ppl she love the most. she goes into the drug game under a fake name Tony, which everyone thinks is a man. Her lover put a hit out on tony which later the hitman finds its her and is about to kill her. this book has alot of twist and turns...a must read!!!!!

    Not what i expected

Dirty Money was a good book for a first time reader of Ashely and Jaquavis but as for me i was not that impressed. The story didnt get good until the middle and i hate when authors do that because you have to read all the dead time. But nevertheless this book is good but not great. I've read the Cartel series, supreme clientele, and the trophy wife. Ashely and Jaquavis can do much better than this and after months of waiting for this book i am just not impressed. But still read the book if your a first time reader of these authors because their other books leave you drooling for more.
