Overview

Someone is stalking Vinnie Esposito. But that's just the start of her problems . . .

Criminal justice instructor Vinnie Esposito is having a very bad day. After barely escaping serious injury in a car accident, Vinnie runs into a former adversary she suspects is stalking her. Then she learns her 60-year-old aunt has been arrested and is palling around with mobsters. Suddenly Vinnie finds herself over her head in trouble - dirty trouble. It's an awkward situation to say the least for someone who's constantly surrounded by law-enforcement contacts - including the hunky State Trooper Marcus Richmond and FBI agent Aaron Grant.

I never laughed so hard at the characters in this book. They are just too comical. Vinnie Esposito has the men in her life all fooled when they think they can control her. She has a great Italian attitude! This is JM Griffin's second book in this series and is great!

Griffin keeps the characters growing and the plots straight. Well written, funny, easy to follow and get caught up in the plot. I highly recommend.

If you enjoy light mysteries you should enjoy this series. The characters are likable and the stories are fun. I will continue to follow Vinnie and her coharts.

I love this writers characters. Vinnie is a strong , hard headed, loveable , disaster waiting to happen. Kind of like the Lucy of amature sleuths. If you lile Janet Evonavich, then you'll like this. I got all 3 in the series and hope she keeps them coming.

This series is a fun combination of humor, romance, and mystery. The obvious parallels to Evanovich make you wonder, though. There are some annoying editing errors.

Mishaps after mishaps and she survives. Plenty of humor. Romantic complications too.

I've enjoyed all 3 books bc the author has cute phrasing. The heroine thinks like and gets into very recognizable types of trouble for a slightly spacey 30's independent woman who still takes home a week's leftovers from Dad's dinners. Slightly sexy, but no voyuristic details.
