Overview

From Chelle Bliss and Brenda Rothert comes a smoldering STANDALONE enemies to lovers romance.
~Reagan~
I hate him. Jude Titan is everything that's wrong with the male sex: cocky, domineering and loaded with swagger. Oh, and did I mention he's a Republican? Yeah, the guy's so conservative he leans to the right when walking. And lucky me, I'm running against him for Senate. But I've got plenty of fight in me. A golden boy war hero opponent with a smile that leaves melted panties in its wake? Bring. It. On.
~Jude~
Damn, she's sexy. Reagan Preston intrigues me from the moment I lay eyes on her. And speaking of laying...I want between those thighs. But I want to make her burn for me first. Every debate and stolen moment is foreplay for us. She claims she hates me, but her body tells a different story. I plan to win this election, but I also want to win the sharp, fiery Democrat who captures my attention like no woman ever has. Politics is filthy, just like all the things I want to do to Reagan Preston.

Jude is man of honor and respect - a war hero. Now a man running for senator. An honest politician - who would have thought it. Reagan is a woman raised in the political life. Following in her fathers footsteps. Two people running for the same position with different goals and ideals. But what this story shows is compromise. Yes they belong to opposite political parties what matters is working together for the common good. Add in some great sex and you have a 5-star winner.

OMG where do I begin this book is a brilliant read. I love both of these authors but I wasn't sure how this collaboration would work no worries there it WORKED !!!!! Reagan and Jude are political enemies but that doesn't stop the electrifying chemistry between them. This story is about the ups and downs of their relationship and the issues that puts on the campaign they are both fighting to win. Jude is a sweet ex marine who is a decorated hero and Reagan comes from a long line of politicians both on opposite sides but when it comes down to it love doesn't care what your political views are. Throw in the advisors who are trying to dig up dirt on both of them and you will be wondering If they can overcome the pressure that family and friends are putting on them to win the election and not be together. This is a great romance with incredible characters and a lot of flirtatious banter. I really didn't want this book to end. I don't understand American Election Campaigns but it made no difference I loved this book. I hope we get more from the Chelle Bliss and Brenda Rothert duo

It was a good story, but didn't like the political bashing....I know that was the premise of the story, but was too much like what I see on TV everyday. Probably will not buy the next book.

4.5 Stars I thought Dirty Work was a great read. This book is hot! Hands down there’s no other way to describe it. There’s plenty of tension between Reagan and Jude throughout the whole book. They’re complete opposites yet they have so much in common. The push and pull between them is intense. Reagan is strong and independent, which I loved. She knew what she wanted out of life and she went for it, no matter the obstacles placed in her way. You can tell how passionate Jude is about what he believes in. He also went after what he wanted and didn’t care what anyone thought about his actions. These two were explosive together! I loved the cat and mouse game that they played. Even more so the bickering between them was comical. With plenty of humor and a few twists, Dirty Work is just one of those reads that you can’t put down.

HOLY HOTNESS!!! Dirty work was amazing!! I was immediately drawn in by Jude and Reagan! I felt like I was watching their relationship fall into place. I literally felt like I could see everything they were doing. Chelle Bliss and Brenda Rothert did an amazing job of creating a realistic and challenging love story. I started it this morning and literally could not put it down. I so hope that this is going to be a series. I could definitely read more. ~*~* Reviewed by Kelly ~*~*

4.5 STARS of politically dirty fun The campaign trail is littered with skeletons. The name of the game is to get all the dirt you can on your opponent and take them down crowing you the victor. What happens when you opponent is the hot as hell former Marine Jude Titan..well your panties might just melt off. He is a complex character with depth and heart. You just will SWOON over Jude! "I’ve never been kissed like this. Jude’s tongue is claiming; his lips are seeking. My soft curves mold against his taut muscles, every ridge finding a valley until there’s nothing left between us. I can’t think. Now that Jude’s shown me his vulnerable side, all bets are off. I need to feel him and taste him. Whatever comfort or redemption he’s looking for, I want to be the one he finds it in." Reagan is from a political family, it is in her genetics and she is a shoe in to win that is until she faces off against America’s golden boy. Hot and steamy with a great plot and just all around wonderful reading. These two authors work very well together. With all the campaign madness going on right now it was nice to read a lighter side of politics. Jude and Reagan are great characters. There are dirty deeds and dirtier characters. When it comes down to the wire would you fight dirty or flee? Instant attraction, taboo rendezvous and torrid events all lead to a fabulous read!

A political race worth sitting through! Jude sexy and smoldering and fighting for the things we can all get behind. I mean I would vote for him!!! I would through sit through all the debates and follow along in the poles. Yeah I would do it all for Jude Titan. Reagan his opponent and a democrat never knew what hit her, but the minute she laid eyes on her competition she knew that he would be trouble. Politicking won't ever be the same. Sneaking around to be together, sneaking glances and grabby hands at debates this book is exciting, thrilling and oh so romantic!

I've never read a Brenda Rothert's book and I'm not a fan of politic's but I've read many of Chelle Bliss work so I had to give this one a shot and I was not disappointed. Dirty Work is a book full of passion and romance as they first combat for position in the senate race and then in bed. The story seemed a little unbelievable but who knows it could happen. Jude and Reagan were well developed character's and the story had some interesting secondary character's that added interest to the story. I would recommend this book as I did enjoy it very much.... It was quite a surprise.

I received a copy of this book exchange for an honest review. Love Jude and Reagan story how the they never tried to bury each other from mistakes that were made in the past. Nobody is perfect but choose to honor your character and how to respect your partners as equals. Appreciate the love you are gifted with and not taken for granted. Enjoy reading this book by Chelle and Brenda in hope to read much more of their co-working projects in the future.

With a clever premise and a well-crafted plot, Dirty Work is an engaging romantic comedy. There is more focus on character and relationship development than on politics, and the chemistry that makes Jude and Regan fantastic opponents also makes them a brilliant couple. Reagan, the Democratic candidate, is poised to inherit her father’s senate seat. Slightly awkward at the start, she grows into herself, becoming a formidable opponent to Jude, the Republican candidate and Marine Corps hero. The public debates between the two candidates are electric while their personal interactions are moving. And as the personal relationship develops, both candidates must fight with their campaign teams to keep the race clean. I loved the witty banter and the clashing of two very strong minds. Despite loving the central romance in this story, I refrained from awarding five stars because Jude and Reagan are surrounded by a loosely sketched cast of villainous political figures on both sides of the political divide. The line between good guys (anyone not political or new to politics) and bad guys (anyone previously involved in politics) is far too simplistic and it doesn’t support the more complex romance in this book. I really enjoyed this romance. I liked the fantasy of cleaner, honest politics, and the combination of a fierce, clever woman and a military hero will always be my cup of tea. Why can't real-life politicians be like these two? Sigh... I was a little worried about signing up to read a book that centers around a political campaign--I mean, how far away is November, and I'm already pretty much campaigned out--but my fears were unfounded. This book is pretty much how I wish campaigns were run...thank goodness for fiction, once again doing its part to make real life more tolerable ;) I enjoyed Dirty Work--and really hope there will be more where this one came from. (The cover says its "A filthy politics novel," so I'm cautiously optimistic on that front.) Jude and Reagan were so much fun to root for--whether they were on opposing sides of the campaign, a secret item, or a couple out in the open, I was in favor of every version of them :) At just 4% in, I knew this book was going to be a keeper. All it took was this conversation between Reagan and her bestie/campaign manager, Alexis: "Lex, being from a family with a history in politics is good and bad. It's mostly bad against Jude Titan. He's a war hero, returning home to shake up the establishment. No baggage. Just a chiseled jawline and a huge smile and a Medal of Honor around his neck." Lexi gets a dreamy look on her face, and I shove her. "Stop picturing him wearing nothing but the medal." "I wasn't," she says, her fair cheeks darkening. "You were." "I may have been," she admits. Seriously. These are my people. Is there anyone who isn't picturing him wearing just the medal now? I didn't think so. A decorated former Marine. Plus he's got tats. And fighting for military vets is a big part of his platform. Basically, he's my catnip. I was concerned about how their running for the same office would be resolved--would Reagan have to put aside her ambitions for his?--and to be honest, the way in which that all comes down in the main reason for this being 4 stars instead of the 4 1/2 it was heading toward for most of the book. It was better than I feared, but I would have liked to have seen the outcome be more even between the two. Still, I really liked Jude, Reagan, and Alexis, and really hope there will be more from these two authors. Rating: 4 stars / B+ I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

I am always a little anxious when an author I enjoy reading teams up on collaboration with a new author to me. I had NOTHING to be concerned about and in fact have already gone off to get some books by Brenda Rothert to read as I have read all of Chelle Bliss’s books. This was a fantastic and intriguing read although I do admit that politics is not my favourite topic to read about. I loved it from the first to the last page and was very disappointed when it ended, What happens when two opposing forces collide and almost combust into flames; that’s what faces political opponents Jude Titan and Reagan Preston when they meet for the first time. Their attraction to each other is instantaneous, so much so that Jude in particular has a hard time focusing on the job at hand, to win the Senate seat for the state of Illinois. Will Jude and Reagan be prepared to put their political lives in jeopardy or will they strive to ignore the chemistry that they are both fighting so hard to ignore. Jude is a political virgin, a war hero who fought for his country and now wants to take that fight to the political arena of Washington DC. Reagan comes from a long line of politicians whose father is determined that she will fight and win, continuing the domination of the Preston family. This was a romance with a difference. You could feel both Jude and Reagan’s angst as they struggled to reign in their feelings for each other. The emotions and hotness aspect were off the charts; I couldn’t put this book down. I have no idea where one author ended and the other took over. Ms. Bliss and Ms. Rothert blended their writing together in such a way that the continuity was flawless. I would certainly love to see a follow up story on Jude and Reagan and definitely more collaborating from Chelle Bliss and Brenda Rothert. These two are a winning combination and one that I highly recommend. You need to one click this book ASAP, you won’t be disappointed. To be honest, if I could give this book more stars than 5 then I most assuredly would.

I need to remind myself that we're not friends. We'll never be friends. She's the enemy. She may not have a rifle pointed at my head, but her beautiful, angelic face is gunning for me in another way. There's nothing she'd like more than to see me fail. My failure is her victory. Jude Titan is ready. A decorated war hero with a heart for the people, Jude wants nothing more than to represent them. What he lacks in experience, he more than makes up for with his passion and integrity, and he's bringing everything that he has to the fight for Senator of the great state of Illinois. Reagan Preston is heiress apparent to that seat in Senate. With the backing of her politico father and the Preston name, Reagan is set to win the voters' hearts and win the election. With so much at stake, there's no room for fraternizing with the enemy. The best laid plans... Authors Brenda Rothert and Chelle Bliss have brought their individual talents together to create a book that was a joy to read. I loved Jude right away, with his cocky, confident air, coupled with his Everyman ideology and heart of gold. Jude loves with all of himself, and he is totally dedicated to the veterans that have served the United States, often to their detriment. His passion for equality and service is what drives him, and his earnest demeanor is what gains him popularity in the polls. Reagan has earned the title of uptight ice queen, but, beneath it all, she's just trying to do the right thing. All she wants is to earn the seat in Senate on her own steam, without the shadow of her father and his legacy. When Jude enters her orbit, she's thrown for a loop, knocked off kilter by the passion that flares whenever they are near each other. The two of them are on a direct collision course, and sparks, snark, and sass are constantly flying left and right. I loved it! Brenda and Chelle have really outdone themselves with DIRTY WORK. Full of passion, political intrigue, and witty sexy banter, this is a book that I could not put down. The ladies have created two characters that appeal on so many levels, and that I just could not help but want to see together. 4.5 stars for this savvy, tightly-written whirlwind of a book. Get it and read it. And, I dare you not to fall in love with Jude... ;-)

I honestly don't think that I have read anything by Chelle Bliss that I haven't loved and this book is no different. I know that it was co-written with Brenda Rothert and they did a seamless job in telling a story that pulls you in. I really enjoyed how well thought out the characters were and the depth to all of them. Especially the two main characters, they were very believable and relatable. I give them a lot of credit in using a political forum to create a story around especially during this time of year and all the politics and policies being spoken about and how fiery it's getting. This story gave you some fun steamy politics to escape into :). Honestly it was a fun read and I flew through it because I couldn't put it down. Blogging for Restless Book Obsession

The only politics I am addicted to I hate politics except reading Dirty Works. It is exciting, fun and oh so intense. Titan can win my vote in a heartbeat. He has good looks at the same time he carry his heart on his sleeve. Reagan on the other hand grew up with politics. it runs on her blood. This girl not only has the looks as well but the intelligent that a woman carries. Politics is dirty and so as this book in a very exciting way. It tackles the secrets of each candidates. I love how Titan and Reagan battles up on the stage. Their chemistry is instant and undeniable. Their secret getaway is always fun. These two authors did an amazing job collaborating writing this book. I so loved reading it. Reading Dirty Work is the only politics that I am addicted to. It is very sexy. I loved the emails and laugh out loud moments. The twist is so intense too. It blown my mind away. Disclosure: I received an ARC of this book in exchange of my honest review.

#TrustTitan Brenda Rothert and Chelle Bliss are both amazing authors, so to say I was excited to get my hands on this one would be an understatement! DW is written in dual POV. The transition between Jude and Reagan’s chapters blend so well together that you forget you are reading a book that was co-authored. Each character has their own distinct personalities, but when they come together, the heat and magnetic chemistry is explosive. Jude is the sexiest man to ever run for political office. He oozes with charisma and is guaranteed to win the votes of all the drooling females of Illinois. Being a war hero, his top priority is to help all veterans obtain the help they need and rightfully deserve. Reagan is following in her father's footsteps and running for his state seat. The pressure is high to defeat the irresistible Jude Titan and win the race. The attraction and chemistry between Jude and Reagan is not only unexpected, but forbidden in the political world. But as they say...You don't always get to choose who you love. This pairing is wrong in so many ways, yet so very right!

Dirty Work is a standalone book. I love the author Brenda Rothert who co-wrote this story. This is a fun, original and sexy book centered around two politicians fighting a state senate seat. To some degree I found it unrealistic – so I would suspend reality and just enjoy the story because its definitely a fun read. Reagan is the current politician. Her father is giving up his seat and wants her to win it. Jude is a military war hero and he wants to make the world a better place. He has no political experience. It was fun watching them text and debate each other while secretly hanging out. This is the part I found unrealistic. But even though it was probably never happen in real life, I really loved this entire story. It is a romance I have never seen before where two opponents fall in love and it was done extremely well.

Favorite Quotes: I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to resist you. With you, everything is so much more. Reagan hasn’t changed me, except to make me a better man. My Review: Two swoon-worthy political opponents meet while battling each other on the campaign trail and feel an instant attraction that they clandestinely explore, indulge, and hide from even their own staffers. The thrill of the forbidden, unearthing deeply hidden secrets, dirty political tricks, and the risk of being exposed to their voting public all add to the mix. Was the budding relationship and teasing just for campaign trail thrills or could it be more? Can either candidate be trusted - or are they just playing each other? Remarks are made that could be used either way. The premise of Dirty Work was relevant and timely. The writing was engaging and entertaining as well as deliciously steamy, but the characters were the best part of this piece – they were well drawn, realistic, alluring, endearing, and people I would want to know.

I was really impressed by the seamless co-writing collaboration of Chelle Bliss and Brenda Rothert. I was pulled in from page one and devoured every single chapter! I loved the alternating view points. The characters were both strong, independent and lovable. Overall a great book and one I would recommend reading!! I hope to see Bliss/Rothert books in the future!

I loved this Book! I love Jude and Reagan, and that they both stood up for what they believe in. Jude and Reagan have amazing chemistry that just jumps off the pages. I was very sad to see this end.

This book has everything political drama, secrets revealed but overall it is a love story. Jude and Reagan are opponents for the Senate seat vacated by Reagan’s father. Jude is considered the underdog. No political experience, ex-military, but has great ideas on changes he wants to bring to Washington especially concerning Veterans. Reagan is considered the establishment, daughter of a politician and currently serving in the State senate. They should hate each other but at the first moment of interaction they can’t deny the attraction. Jude is the last guy Reagan should want. How can they win each others heart when there can only be one winner for the Senate seat? I really liked this story. I love that underneath everything it was a love story without a lot of drama. I also loved how strong Reagan was. Even though she wanted to make her dad proud of her she wanted to do it her own way. I also like how neither played those political games. My favorite part of the book was the sneaking around. It was so cute. So without spoiling this book any more than the tidbit I gave, you should really read this book. I am a fan of Brenda’s work and she really did a great job with Chelle. I am looking forward to more from this duo.

First let me say that I don't usually love political books because, well, I HATE politics. This book proved me wrong that not all political books are created equally. I couldn't put it down! It had me hooked from beginning to end. I loved both Jude & Reagan. They are running against each other for the Senate seat. Both are on opposite sides and it gets dirty. I loved the angst between them, the back & forth flirting, the twist & turns from both sides, and the hot hot hotness. Chelle & Brenda make a great pair. I hope to read more from the both of them together!

I'm in love with Jude and Reagan. I want them plastered everywhere in Washington so all of those people can get a freaking clue. Dirty Work is amazing for a few reasons. I'm in a list kinda mood, so that's what you're getting. 1. The MCs are people you can root for. The. Whole. Time. Now, there were moments I didn't agree with one or the others actions and/or words. But that's because I'm not a robot, and neither are they. (Don't you love it when I treat characters like living people? LOL) 2. The not-so-hidden message beneath the romance is beautiful. It is also idealistic and unlikely, but I don't care. I read romance to find love, hope, and peace. I found all of that and some great sex. 3. Lexi rocks as a BFF. She's supportive, kind, and feisty. 4. There are some screwed up characters too. Remember that idealism? Well, there isn't so much that Chelle and Brenda couldn't throw in some pretty deplorable humans (note: ten used lightly). But these peeps still had depth and played very important roles. 5. There isn't enough political discussion that you end up disliking anyone over it. This was my big fear, and I get fired up pretty easily. So no worries, okay? 6. Um, hello! It's a Chelle book that less me to another great author. I've seen co-written books not gel before, but I'm pretty sure these two chicks have their Dr. Scholl's in. That's what I've got. What do you have? Hello! A great read you need to buy ASAP :)

I started this book on a Sunday, knowing full well I wouldn't be able to finish it before heading to bed. About one chapter in I realized what a horrible mistake I had made, because I was hooked. I stayed up until midnight, snuck a few chapters in at 3:30 am when the dog decided he had to go out, then was up and reading again when my husband left for work at 6:30 am. #judeandreaganaddict I loved both Reagan and Jude from the jump. They were relatable, and surprisingly down to earth. When they began interacting with one another, their likability sky-rocketed. The stolen moments, the hidden texts, the naughty FaceTimes were all perfection, and made you love them individually, while rooting for them as a couple. They clicked, and their attraction felt real. Even as secrets were uncovered by each respective camp, I never waivered in my support of them together. I did, however, want to kick a couple campaign staffers in the junk. Anywho, I digress... Dirty Work is a landslide victory for these two amazingly talented authors. One-click this bad boy and get dirty with Reagan and Jude!
