    A great introduction to Christianity

Powell is extremely well versed and declares that the book is farther from a theology text and closer to an introductory to Christianity. That said, I think he raises plenty of theologic questions that challenge the reader to explore faith at a deeper level. His grasp on creation was refreshing. He expands genesis past an archaic time and brings the gospel to a present day. Terminology is explained well and concepts are revealed in an organized and logical fashion. An enlightening and easy read. Highly recommended to explore Christianity, introduce yourself to theology, and strengthen your faith. Student to professor, lay public to scholar, Powell has written in such a way that all can benefit.
