All Music Guide - Adam Greenberg
The Moldovan band O-Zone only lasted for a few albums before breaking up in 2005, but they repeatedly found themselves at the top of a number of European charts during their prominence in pop. Their last album, DiscO-Zone, produced the same sort of pop as previous albums, but included the megahit "Dragostea din Tei," a bouncing dance hit that also spawned the "Numa Numa" viral video perhaps better known in the West. The album topped most European charts and gained Japanese distribution after the band's demise, returning it to the top of the charts in Japan, where it eventually became the twelfth most popular album in 2005.

    =)

O-zone is by far awesome! Too bad they broke up. This CD is so awesome! Sarbatoarea Noptilor de Vara and De Ce Plang Chitarele are my favorites. I had to go on a trip across CT and O-zone took me there and back! The only downfall of this CD is Dragostea Din Tei in English. It's also not the correct translation. But it's still a great CD.

    Energetic and really great!!!!

This CD has really energetic songs and great tunes! Of course, I love the Numa Numa Song (or Dragostea Din Tei) which I heard about from my cousin and instantly fell in love with. I also like Dar Unde Esti and mostly all the other songs. The language makes it even more interesting! Everyone should know about this CD!

    CATCH THE OZONE BUZZ!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!! I came across Dragostea Din Tei on the internet (actually, yes, from the fat guy from New Jersey lip syncing). And that song sounded so cool. It was totally forgein, and hey, forgein stuff is cool! So I went on a search and I am now SO TOTALLY OBSESSED!!!!!!!!! So, I've seen the music videos, herad the songs, bought the cd, and visited the fan sites (all with the help of the trusty language translator). I think they are so great. They've REALLY got something here, and I kinda think they have talent! Of course, despite Dan being the center of almost EVERYTHING, (which bugs me SO much, I mean, he is NOT the main guy! They all sing and should share, and why is he totally the main guy on this cd cover!?) Anyway. These guys are SO cool. Lets just hope our american culture doesn't barf all over it and give them a huge record deal and force them to change everything. I hope you consider buying this cd. IT ROCKS! The best songs are Dragostea Din Tei (of course), Despre Tine, and De Ce Plang Chitarele. And at first I thought the English version of Dragostea Din Tei was REALLY bad, and was totally going to ruin everything, (well, it still is ruining it, they should totally stay all Romanian), it is still kinda catchy. Anyway, it's VERY cheap, and great considering how much I've already listened to it (I bet I could average out that every song might cost me about .005 cents) (actually, that's a bit of an exageration, because I bought it today, but think of all the days I'll still be listening to this). It's so worth it!

    Awesome!

This CD is so awesome! How are they not known in the US??? They must be known here! The songs have been stuck in my head for the longest time. I walk around school singing them to myself thinking, "No one else knows who they are." But I love it. I have the videos for "Dragostea Din Tei" "Numai Tu" and "Despre Tine." It's so awesome!
