About the Author

Hui Wang (Wanda) is Associate Professor in Translation Studies, the Department of Translation and Interpreting, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Prior to joining XJTLU, she taught in the Department of Translation, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has published extensively in various renowned journals, e.g. Meta: Translators' Journal, the Interpreter and Translator Trainer, Chinese Translator’s Journal and Foreign Language Teaching and Research. Her research interests include Discourse Analysis, Translation Studies, Web Localization, Media Translation, as well as Translator Training.
