    Not Good

This book was one of the worst ones I've ever read in my entire life. The whole purpose of it was immature and I don't even know how the authors took credit for making up the quotes... when they are ones you can find plastered on any 13-year-old's profile. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all. It was a waste of my time.

    A Chance to Laugh

I purchased a copy of 'Disenchanted Evenings' over the Holidays when the fun-loving and effervescent authors were doing a book signing at Belden Village Mall in Canton, Ohio. The book reads quickly, but it is the PERFECT gift for divorcees, soon-to-be-married persons, or anyone going through a rough time in his/her relationship. The intent of the book is for one to have a 'chance to laugh'--not only at the stereotyped behaviors of the male gender, but also at oneself. I learned a lot about 'hot buttons' with women which, before reading this book, I just overlooked and really didn't know were 'issues' per se. (Example: changing the toilet paper, filling up empty ice cube trays, monopolizing the remote control, etc.) This book is one for all coffee tables; it may be a quick read, but it is a campy 'survival guide' with a tongue-in-cheek approach which may be referred to for years to come! I highly recommend it to both men and women alike. I hope you have the opportunity to meet the authors as I did. They are gorgeous, intelligent, and caring. They are even donating a portion of their royalties to domestic violence projects across the nation. Now that's a book I want to support!

This book is nothing but old cliches and cute little expressions we've all heard dozens of times. It took me fifteen minutes to read the whole thing. There was too much white space. I was very disappointed, and would not recommend this book to anyone.
