I Love A Mystery
Dishing up Death is a rollicking tale meant to be fun to read--and it succeeds.
Skokie Public Library
...An entertaining first mystery novel.
Library Journal
Pet chef Kitty serves "killer" meals to the pampered canines of upscale L.A. residents: braised lamb, steak and egg burrito, salmon and cheese omelette, etc. Unfortunately, a drugged up ex-rock star eats his pet's meal by mistake and dies of poisoning. Kitty, aghast and under suspicion by the police, works to clear her name with help from best friend Velma. Light-weight prose, a humorous approach, and idiosyncratic LA characters transform this series start into a real treat. Copyright 2005 Reed Business Information.

    Nancy......is that you?

An excellent book - an adorable main character - twists and turns, but no unknown characters showing up in the last few pages to claim responsibility for the murder!! An easy read, a little too easy - I felt as if I were reading a book written for a young adult - kind of a Nancy Drew for the teen reader......... I definitely will give this author/series another chance.
