Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Judy Katsh
Some people like to savor a movie and make it last longer by revisiting the plot and characters in book form. For George of the Jungle movie fans, this junior novelization will be a treasure. Each of George's early pratfalls and collisions is fully described. Each conflict with the bad guys is painstakingly detailed; and each bathroom joke is duly reported. The story is slight, but the humor and tenderness come through. And, the fact that most of the movie's humor was visual will not trouble fans-they'll find delight in reading about what was so funny the first time around.
