The original High School Musical soundtrack has sold more than 7 million copies in the United States and was the bestselling album of 2006. Disney hopes to repeat that success with High School Musical 2. The accompanying soundtrack features the anthemic single "What Time Is It," which reunites original cast members Corbin Bleu ("Chad"), Monique Coleman ("Taylor"), Zac Efron ("Troy"), Lucas Grabeel ("Ryan"), Vanessa Hudgens ("Gabriella"), and Ashley Tisdale ("Sharpay"). The music again skews toward hip-hop beats and hooky pop melodies, and such tracks as "Work This Out," the sports-themed "I Don't Dance," "Bet on It" and "All for One" make you feel like Backstreet's not only back, but never left.

    A reviewer

Although the cover of the CD advertises on screen lyrics, there are NONE. i even put the CD into my karaoke machine (that would definitely display them if there were any) and there was nothing but a blank screen. i tried everything i could think of to make it work, but realized that it was false advertising. there are no lyrics except for the tiny print that comes inside the CD case. i did some research online and found that everyone who purchased these CDs discovered the same thing. if your child wants to sing karaoke, then this is NOT the CD for you. you might as well just play the regular CD on your CD player. in this so-called &quot karaoke&quot CD, the real singer(s)is not even the one singing it. i returned it to the store along w/the 4 other CDs i bought.
