I really enjoyed this book. It kept me captivated all the way through until the very end. There were some very good 'life lessons' that I found very uplifted and thought provoking. I would highly recommend this book.
This is an amazing book that tells the true story of how through faith in Our Redeemer Jesus Christ and Our Father In Heaven when can overcome the hardest most difficult parts of out life. It is a great story and I love to read it. It is an amazing thing that Joseph Banks has to go through and it is incredible
I'm only 11, but this book will stay with me forever. I am stunned by the brutality of the Germans, but I know that by calling upon his Savior, Joseph Banks pushed through.This is an inspiring book and everyone should read it. IMMEDIATLEY!!!!
I've read this book 9 times and the action, his faith, anything in the book it never gets old. i've contacted him and he's in very good health still and lives in florida. he is very nice and knows lots. his book is faith provoking and outstanding
An incredible tale of WWII actual events presented by the author. Story will make you remember and appreciate the valiant men who served our country at great cost. Unspeakable horrors and unimaginable suffering while never losing faith in God. Quite a thought provoking read.
It is amazing what President Banks had to go through during his service to his country. It is shocking how he was treated by the Germans, but it was a great story in humility. Really depicts his faith in the Lord and how he overcame his adversity. Once started, it is impossible to put down this book.
