    Eternal Security Sealed

As I read The Divine Romance during the Holy Week prior to Easter Sunday, I was daily reminded of just how uncomplicated the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ really is. Mr. Edwards depicted a true story of amazing love from the Father's heart and our ONLY requirement for obtaining eternal security...love Him right back!

    *speechless*

I cannot say enough about this book. It made me begin to realize how much God loves me. And it caused me to fall in love with Him. You can feel the scripture behind every beautiful bit of prose... I cried several times while reading it... as has everyone else I've known to have read the book, male and female. I highly reccomend that those looking to marry read this before they do. It should profoundly improve your understanding of the mystery of two people becoming one...

    The Divine Romance

A fictional account of the main stories in the bible. From creation to resurrection. From Adams desire for his counterpart... To Gods desire from us. Love. Simply love. Short and beautifully written. Similar to CS Lewis and Paradise Lost. Its helped me to see not only my earthly relationships in a different light, but my spiritual relationship as well.

    A Let-Down

Seeking a paradise Lost like book, I bought the Divine Romance. I was very disappointed. It portrayed a lonely, jealous God that was sad and partially insecure. For a much more theologically accurate and thought-provoking view of creation, God, and the fall of Satan and man in the garden, wade through paradise lost. If you can't stomach the tough language and imagery of Paradise Lost, don't look for a simpler version here, I am sorry to say. Not that one can't gain insights from this story....

    Highly recommended

This captured my heart so much than when I was describing to my friends what I was reading, the Presence of God was felt strongly in the midst of us. A must for every believer to read.

    Definitely Recommend This Book

This is the most amazing book I have ever read! It completely shattered my view of what the church should be and changed how I look at myself as part of that body.

To better understand RELATIONSHIP from God's perspective

Reading my Bible will NEVER be the same as a result of this wonderfully Biblical overview of God's perspective on the events recorded from Genesis to Revelation. BOTTOMLINE: God is most interested in a loving relationship with each of us; and He NEVER wants to have to say: 'Depart from Me, for I never KNEW you'. Gene Edwards appropriately puts 'the ball in our court' as to WHOSE turn it is to respond by his focus on God's completed work at the Cross of Calvary.
