    America's Soul Brother

Taylor Hicks got the soul of America's Idol. He's da bomb, the best I've heard in a long time on AI.

    Taylor Hicks Is Incredible:

I have not been this excited about a singer in years. Taylor, is down to earth/real. I love his energy, how he belts out a song. Yet, can grab one's heart when he sang You Are So Beautiful. The only reason I watched the Idol this year was because of Taylor Hicks, he is AWESOME

    Taylor Hicks - THE BEST

Taylor's rendition of both songs on this CD are the best. He puts heart & soul into every note he sings. Go Soul Patrol. Wally

    I'm loving Taylors cd ! :)

It's a great gift for kids graduating-to send to our military troops-mothers and fathers day too. It's nice to hear lyrics with meaning to them & nothing that demeans women.

    Absolutely LOVE it!!!

This song gave me goose-bumps the first time I heard him sing it on AI. I love the way he "Taylored" the song and when I got the CD I just was blown away. Love his version of "Takin' it to the Streets"! I can hardly wait until his CD comes out! This guy feels every note he sings and he is a joy to listen to and watch as well. Hope they do a music video of him and his work!

    Nice Job

I have to disagree with those who don't like this song or Taylor's rendering of it. They're entitle to their opinion of course. The song is very nice to listen to and Taylor's vocal is down to earth, real and warm. I've heard grammer winners with less impressive songs and/or vocals. Nicely done.

    This man is brilliant

I can't stop listening to "Do I Make You Proud" and it's because of the addictive quality of Taylor's voice. It's also fun to hear his take on "Takin' It to the Streets." Taylor revitalizes the classic.

    Doesn't make me proud

Although I am a fan of Taylor, DIMYP is just another sappy American Idol finale song. Please do not USE our troops in a video to sell more singles. Let the single sell on its merits alone. Taylor does a better job with Takin it to the Streets. But enough with karaoke remakes. I want to hear some good original songwriting. Hoping Taylor does better with the album.

    Yes You Make Me Proud

Taylor Hicks proves what "singing from the soul" truly is. His exceptional creative talents and ability to draw you into a song are very evident in DIMYP.

    Hicks is the real deal

Taylor Hicks is no cookie cutter American Idol winner.... this guy won our hearts with his love of his music, smart performances, and an all-American story of heart, soul and the grit of a broke performer. This first release shows some of what we love about him....well worth the investment of time and cash. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Taylor.... he is truly an original.
